Olivier Goulet's skin objects, whether they are body suits or bags formed like organs, are conceived as an extension of the human body, as the shedding of a skin at the interface between the individual and the environment. The box with the anthropomorphic insects evokes zooligical displays of collections of butterflies or beetles, mounted on pins and arranged to convey a systemic depiction of the various species. |
